Friday, April 2 Good Friday Tenebrae Service 8:00 pm

On the first Friday of April, Christians everywhere remember the darkest hour of Jesus' life.  In a special service designed to help rekindle your imagination and appreciation for what happened on the cross, we will together spend an hour on Good Friday to remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross.  This event will feature special musical performances, recitations of scripture, and a short meditation.  The Tenebrae service is open to the public.  It is asked that you enter the auditorium in silence for this particular worship service.  

Saturday, April 3 City Grace Runs Half-Marathon with Team World Vision

Team City Grace will be joining with other teams around the city to run a half-marathon to raise money for the hungry in Africa.  If you are interested in running with Team City Grace or want more information, visit our team page here.   To register for the event, go to Team World Vision and sign up for the race titled 13.1 New York.  Be sure to indicate that you would like to join "Team City Grace."  Easy group runs will be held periodically in Central Park.

Sunday, April 4 Easter Sunday

Easter is perhaps the greatest holiday on the Christian calendar, the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.  This service will be a special service, and it will be a particularly appropriate day for you to invite any of your friends who may be interested in knowing a little bit more about the faith that you hold.
