Community Groups

small-group

When most hear "church," they think Sunday morning. While corporate worship is certainly a vital part of a Jesus-centered community, the reality is that "church" happens throughout the week.  Corporate worship serves to energize and focus us.  However, faith is meant to be lived out in everyday life. To that end, a variety of smaller communities have formed at City Grace to facilitate caring relationships, discipleship and missional outreach.  The purpose of these groups is to empower individuals to put their faith into practice in the context of day to day life.

Community Groups and Bible Studies

Most of our community groups meet bi-weekly and all are open to guests and visitors. These groups vary in their specific focus but all are places for people to come together to explore in community what it means to have Jesus at the center of our lives.  Groups usually meet in homes although special events and service projects will be around the city. See the calendar for specific dates and times of meetings.

Mentoring and Discipleship

Smaller groups between 2 and 5 people meet throughout the city for prayer, Bible study, accountability and reflection. These groups provide a more intimate and confidential setting to explore and question the faith and to think about what it means to allow Jesus-centeredness to bear on every aspect of your life.  For more information about mentoring and discipleship at City Grace, contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
