About Us

We're about having faith in God

God has gone to great lengths to show his love for us. God took on flesh as Jesus of Nazareth and suffered death on the cross so that we can know God's love for us has no bottom or top, no front or back. After three days, Jesus was raised from the dead into a life that death cannot touch so that we can know God's love for us overcomes all barriers. Having faith in God means being in a relationship with God. We don't have faith so we can simply know about God's loving presence, but so that we can experience God's loving presence in our lives.

We're about experiencing God's love personally

When we experience relationship with God, God's loving presence washes through our lives. It's like a current that takes bad and gives good. Our lives become rich even if we lose wealth, well even if we face difficulty, clear even as we enter mystery, good even though we see more of our flaws. God's love makes us whole, setting us free to have the life we were always supposed to have, a life filled to the full.

We're about living out of that love in our daily lives

Once we sense God's loving presence, it is impossible to hold it all inside. This love spills out of us and into other people. We want people to know this love that makes us whole. By loving others this way, we come to a deeper experience of God's love for us. It's easy to think God's love is only for certain types of people. Being in New York City has taught us that God's love cannot be so limited. The stunning diversity and rich cultural tradition of this City reveal to us the full breadth of God's love for all humanity and make us want to strive for the good of everyone who lives here.
